Walter Schernstein – Featured IPA member
My name is Walter Schernstein. I am a photographer and I live in Germany, in the Ruhr area.
I photograph as a photo-journalist and working on freely chosen projects.
One of my projects is photography at dusk. The moment between the day and the night, the time of transition. The special lighting so creates new.
Photography is a “door opener”, it allows me to explore my environment, through photography I learn. I learn people and know things that I otherwise would not have met.
My free photographic work I exhibit in museums and galleries.
I shoot with Nikon and Leica cameras and have a dark room which I unfortunately do not use at the moment.
