João Fernandes (joãozero)

Aveiro, Portugal

Born in 1970 in Lisbon.
Degree in Visual Education Teaching and Technology, the School of Education Leiria in 1993.
Conducts and participates in several photography workshops.
Since 1991 dedicated to the Chinese ink drawing and photography, sometimes mixing the two techniques.
In 1993 participates in a sculpture competition in plastic waste, conducted by MAP Portuguese – in Leiria, in which wins the 1st prize.
In 1994 participates in the May II Photo of Leiria.
Attends the course of Communication Design at the School of Fine Arts of Lisbon and the University of Aveiro.
Participates in various group and solo exhibitions in Aveiro, Aveiro, Leiria, Porto, Póvoa de Varzim and Viana do Castelo.
It is amateur photographer since 1987, Professor of Visual and Technological Education Education since 1993 and creative in advertising since 2001.

2012
Participate and get the 3rd place in the 1st Photographic Marathon ASUS OLHARES “Pro-Art” – Oporto
Received the award, the picture on the month OLHARES website.
It is the Author OLHARES 1 on the Facebook OLHARES.
Publishes a photograph in the magazine “The Digital Photography World” is selected as one of 12 most creative of the year.
It is a finalist in the “World’s Largest Photo Contest” PHOTO magazine.
It is co-author of the Book of Photography “Fragrâncias de Luz” – Edições Vieira da Silva.

2013
It is one of the young talents in the PHOTO magazine’s website.
In April, he participated as a photographer invited the inserted photo Salon in the celebrations of 10 Years OLHARES FNAC the Marshopping, Matosinhos, Oporto.
